About Us

In response to the Camp Fire, Frank and Kasia Lewis of NorCal Construction, are utilizing their education and years of experience building high end homes in the Silicon Valley to help rebuild the Ridge. Their goal is to provide the best building materials and practices available, all while staying in budget, providing an exceptional fit and finish. Understanding how overwhelming the building process can be, they strive to make the process as stress free as possible.

The Lewis’ started to raise their family in Chico, living in Butte Creek Canyon from 2004 until 2008, when the economic downturn pushed them back to the Bay Area to find work. All the while they saved and invested in property in the Chico area, splitting their time between the two communities, until they were able to move back full time in 2017. They even talked their daughter into moving mid high school – she graduated from Chico High in 2019.

Frank’s passion for classic cars, building them since his teen years, transfers into the homebuilding process and lends to his eye for detail. The whole Lewis family was part of a 2-year (and counting) restoration of their current home in downtown Chico. Originally built for the Vice President of Diamond Match in 1904, and remodeled by famed California architect Julia Morgan in 1922, it was (and still is) a labor of love.
